Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with acute and chronic wounds. Your expertise in wound management and treatment will play a vital role in promoting healing and preventing complications. This role includes the following as well: Medical Records, Inventory, and Staff scheduling.

Duties: - Assessing and evaluating patients' wounds to determine the appropriate treatment plan - Cleaning, dressing, and monitoring wounds according to established protocols - Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop comprehensive care plans - Educating patients and their families on wound care techniques and prevention strategies - Assisting with discharge planning and coordinating follow-up wound care for Residents. - Utilizing electronic medical record systems Point Click Care to document patient information accurately

-Scheduling nursing staff, inventory, and medical records. You will be on call if you are unable to find nursing coverage, you will have to fill in as needed. (Will discuss on call at interview)
