Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team in providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Conduct assessments and develop care plans for patients with various medical needs.
  • Provide guidance in ventilating patients and catheterizing as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance primary care services and manage acute pain effectively.
  • Oversee utilization review processes to ensure appropriate resource allocation.
  • Maintain knowledge of physiology and medical imaging to support clinical decision-making.
  • Support staff development through training programs focused on working with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care delivery.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license with relevant experience in a supervisory role preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills in acute care settings, including experience in hospital medicine.
  • Knowledge of sonography techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a diverse team.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Previous experience in utilization review or case management is advantageous.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.

Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour
