Maintenance Director

This position is responsible for organizing, directing and supervising the maintenance and repair program involving buildings and grounds. Coordinates maintenance and repair activities with functions of other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a long term care setting preferred.
  • Self-motivated, self-directed with leadership skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • At least 2 years experience in maintenance and various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
  • Knowledge of local codes and ordinances.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations.
  • Ability to plan and carry out programs in repair or new construction and/or installation.
  • Ability to direct others.
  • Knowledge of record keeping and cost estimating.
  • Knowledge of supplies and equipment used by department and the care
  • Advises and consults with the Administrator on maintenance and repair needs concerning structure, equipment and grounds.

Day shift primarily and some on call. Pay depends on experience

Job Description

This position is responsible for providing daily care and services to assure each resident attains or maintains his/her highest practicable level of function under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Job Duties:

  • Prepares and administers oral, eye, ear, nasal, topical and suppository medications as prescribed by physician.
  • Prepares and administers PRN medications only after obtaining approval from Charge Nurse.
  • Prepares and administers controlled drugs as permitted by the state.
  • Documents administration of medications.
  • Count controlled drugs when coming on shift and going off duty.
  • Reorder unit dose medication per facility policy.
  • Apply ice bags and hot water bottles as directed by Charge Nurse.
  • Performs job duties as outlined in State Registered Nursing Assistant job description.

Qualifications

MUST be MO state certified nurses assistant and Medication Technician, not for level one med aides. Pay starts at $20/hr. Full and part time available,night shifts. Sign on bonus for full time.

 

       

CHARGE NURSE RN/LPN

  • Ability to follow direction with minimal oversight.

  • Ability to tactfully deal with facility personnel, residents, family members, visitors, etc.

We currently have part and full time available, both day and night shifts. New pay scale and benefits. Sign on bonus for Full time.
