Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Educational Institution; Master's Degree preferred. Must be able to work with a diverse group of students, staff, and co-workers. Strong verbal and written skills with the knowledge of Missouri educational requirements to receive a high school diploma is strongly preferred. Experience working with nontraditional and/or adult learners is preferred. Current Missouri Teacher's Certificate in the relevant area required (Example: Science Teachers must be certified in Science)

Primary Duties/Responsibilities Provide a positive learning environment for adult learners. Develop and implement strategies, activities, and objectives for learners. Effectively facilitate a variety of differentiated learning opportunities including direct instruction, small group instruction, and cooperative learning. Provide visual, auditory, and hands-on learning activities that lead to required competencies (as outlined by the State of Missouri). Track each student's progress. Work as part of a team to support barrier removal for adult learners. Other duties as assigned.
