Van Buren Career/Job Fair
We are currently soliciting post-secondary education options, Trade Associations as well as area Poplar Bluff companies which may be interested in engaging with our area youth/residents to join us at this event. Currently, we have 7 businesses committed to our endeavor. Ideally, we'd have a total of 25 to 30 School/Trade/Business groups join us.
The main goal of this is to provide our youth with information related to the types of jobs available after High School. A secondary, and also important goal, is to give our residents looking for work and opportunity to meet employers who are hiring. Our hope is to do an event like this on, at least, an annual basis.
