The nonprofit Federal Alliance for Safe Homes
(FLASH), National Earthquake Hazards Reduction
Program (NEHRP), Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA), City of Poplar Bluff, and the City of
Poplar Bluff Police Department are accepting
registrations for the free QuakeSmart Preparedness
Workshop on Thursday, September 18, 2025, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
The workshop is geared toward building officials,
businesses, corporations, engineers, and emergency
managers, homebuilders, leaders, manufacturers,
nonprofits, organizations, policymakers, public officials, risk managers, and small businesses.
Attendees will receive streamlined business continuity planning and mitigation project plans with simple, step-by-step instructions to help reduce earthquake risk and protect employees, clients, customers, and communities. The workshop includes a free networking session
luncheon.
The workshop is free, but advanced registration is
requested. Register ASAP!
