DESCRIPTION:Med Lab Tech Program\n\nMay 15\, 2023\n\n \n\nThe application deadline for the Associate of Applied Science in Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff is May 15. The MLT program at Three Rivers is part of the Missouri Health Professional Consortium (MHPC) and was developed to meet the increasing demand for highly competent medical laboratory technicians in rural and underserved areas of Missouri. Students must complete an application and meet certain criteria to be admitted into the program. The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) entrance examination requirement has been waived at this time. After graduating and receiving their license\, possible employers could include hospital laboratories\, private clinics\, research labs\, wet labs\, industry\, crime investigations\, forensic studies\, and public health facilities. All admissions materials\, including official transcripts from high school and other colleges\, must be received by May 15. Application forms for the MLT program can be found online at trcc.edu/apply. Prospective students must also complete a Three Rivers application (trcc.edu/admissions or call 573-840-9605).
