DESCRIPTION:The Economic and Business Engagement Center and Small Business & Technology Development Center at Southeast Missouri State University announce that a limited number of full scholarships are now available for the upcoming LaunchU class for aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs in Poplar Bluff.\n\n\n\nLaunchU is a hands-on course that coaches aspiring entrepreneurs and startups through the business planning process to determine business feasibility\, including the actual development of a Small Business Administration-approved business plan\, pitch presentation\, and financial forecast. The course consists of instruction from a certified facilitator\, small group activities\, one-on-one business coaching including access to market research data from the SBTDC\, local experts as guest speakers\, the LaunchU Startup Handbook\, and a three-month license for LivePlan.\n\n \n\n"I have been involved with entrepreneurial training sessions and graduate level business planning for numerous years\," said Steve Halter\, President of the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce. " This Launch U program is second to none and I am extremely excited we will be able to offer it to people for no cost. The tools participants will receive during these training sessions will be invaluable."
