DOWNTOWN STRATEGIC PLAN 2020
We hired a professional firm (Downtown Strategies) to conduct a new strategic plan for our downtown.  Many of you were able to attend one of the community meetings. These are the top 5 priorities that Downtown Strategies outlined in their plan, in no particular order:

  1. Create a Community Improvement District to benefit downtown property owners
  2. Create a pedestrian only area.
  3. Research and implement business incentives.
  4. Implement a vacant storefront registration program.
  5. Create a “To-go cup” ordinance within the pedestrian only area.
